ATCB Story of Impact

Outcomes The ATCB has experienced phenomenal growth under the management of CCE, earning NCCA accreditation in 2012. Since 1999, the ATCB has added additional credentials, the Art Therapy Certified Supervisor (ATCS) and the Art Therapy Registration (ATR-P). The ATCS credential demonstrates competency in supervision practices. For new art therapy graduates, the Provisional Registered Art Therapists (ATR-Provisional) credential signals to the public that the art therapist has completed the advanced education to practice and is practicing under the guidance of an approved supervisor. Credential holders and the Board’s revenue have increased substantially in the 21 years CCE has managed the ATCB. Board revenue has increased nearly 75 percent. The number of ATR-BC holders in 2017 was 3,215, compared to 1,163 in 2000. “We extend our deepest thanks to CCE’s quality staff and their dedication to the ATCB,” says Parker-Bell. “Their skill and dedication have made our important mission easier to achieve.” Get Started With CCE If your nonprofit board or association is ready to take the next step in advancing its mission, the Center for Credentialing & Education can offer customized solutions for addressing your business needs.
