- cce-awarded-two-new-educational-review-contracts
We are delighted to announce that CCE is now processing educational equivalency reviews for the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Professional Licensing and the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs.
For over 20 years, CCE has provided thorough educational reviews to ensure that applicants have met the coursework required by their respective state board for licensure. The process includes reviewing transcripts, written correspondence and verbal communication with applicants, and uploading tentatively approved files to the state boards’ portals after the reviews are completed.
Providing the review services saves state boards a lot of valuable time and effort, says Tammi Lee, Vice President CCE, Business Services and Partnerships Division.
“This work is vital, because many boards do not have the resources to process these reviews,” she says. “The boards depend on the expert services rendered by CCE so they can concentrate on the other aspects of the licensure process. They don’t even have to field phone calls from applicants. We do all of the work so that they don’t have to.”
Application reviewers are thoroughly trained to ensure that the review process is conducted accurately and efficiently, Lee says. In addition to the two new contracts, CCE currently provides educational equivalency reviews for state boards in South Carolina, Iowa, Florida, North Dakota, and its first, Colorado, which has been a client for more than 25 years.
“We are always seeking new regulatory board clients for which we can perform these needed services,” Lee says.
If you are affiliated with a counseling state licensure board and would like more information about CCE’s educational equivalency review services, please email Lee for more information.
