GCDF US Application

Welcome to the application for the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF-US). This application process has been established for credential holders of the GCDF-Japan to apply for the GCDF-US. If you do not currently hold the GCDF-JP please do not submit this application.

Please fill in all required fields below. Once your application is submitted, CCE staff will contact you to provide the forms necessary to obtain verification of your work experience. When entering information for your work experience in career development, refer to these requirements.

GCDF-US Experience Requirement

  • 1,400 hours for those with a graduate degree
  • 2,800 hours for those with a bachelor’s degree
  • 4,200 hours for those with an associate degree
  • 5,600 hours for those with a high school diploma

Once you have submitted the application information, you will be taken to a page to submit payment for the application. CCE reviews all applications in the order in which they are submitted. Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing of your application.

All CCE applicants and those who are renewing CCE credentials are required to submit written disclosures within 60 days of awareness for:

  1. Prior criminal felony, misdemeanor, and other criminal convictions.
  2. Current and pending criminal felony, misdemeanor, and other charges, including complaints and indictments.
  3. State Court matters where the candidate/credential holder was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or controlledsubstances within ten (10) years prior to the date of their initial credential application or credential maintenance application.
  4. Government agency and professional/occupational organization conduct or other complaint matters relating to the candidate/credential holder, including disciplinary and complaint matters, within ten (10) years prior to the date of their initial credential application or credential maintenance application.
  5. Legal matters related to the candidate’s/credential holder’s business or professional/occupational activities, including civil complaints and lawsuits.

Disclosures and other ethics matters are reviewed in accordance with CCE procedures. Disclosures do not automatically render an individual ineligible for credentialing. CCE reserves the right to deny eligibility based on an ethics review.
